A real person walks your home inside and out on the schedule you choose, and you get a report with photos the same day. This is the heart of what we do.
Who it is for
Second-home owners, people who travel for months at a time, families settling an estate, anyone whose house sits empty for a stretch, and homeowners whose insurer expects a vacant property to be checked regularly. If your home is empty and you are not, this is the service.
What we check
- The outside of the home and the grounds
- Every room inside
- Heating and cooling, and a visual check of the system
- Plumbing leaks, and roof leaks from inside
- Water heater and electrical panel
- Doors and windows secured
- Refrigerator and freezer running
- Visible signs of pests, damp or mildew
- Any sign of attempted entry, vandalism or damage
- Mail and packages brought in, if you have asked us to
What you get afterwards
A written report the same day: the date and time we came, which of us walked the home, everything we checked, what we found, photos inside and out, anything we did while we were there, and confirmation that we locked up behind us. If something is wrong, you hear about it straight away rather than in the report.
How often
Weekly, twice a month, monthly, or a single visit before or after a trip or a storm. Weekly is the only schedule we discount. Tell us how long you will be away and what the home is like, and we will suggest a rhythm.
